recently operamini's new version 6.1 launched.
here frnds I am posting new features of opera mini 6.1
features
1. Jar file download capacity.
Yes frnds now operamini 6.1 version supports download of jar files.
2. Search auto suggestions
when u search anything from operamini 6.1's search bar it shows Search auto suggestions like googles's pc site. But note here that it need active socket connection if u havent active socket connection then it do not show Search auto suggestions.
3. Direct search from url bar
now frnds u can also do Direct search from url bar. This feature is like google chrome which supports Direct search from url bar.
4. domain auto-suggest
Added intelligent domain suggest which suggests your most used domain endings.
Added support for country domain auto- complete such as .ru or .id
5. greatly improved text selection
6. stability and device support

Improved memory handling on Sony Ericsson devices

How to Download Jar Files using Opera Mini 4.2 (or even Opmin5) by magictrick.in
Hi guys.We all know that JAR files cant be downloaded directly on Opera Mini. In Opmin4.2 the save option disappears and were left with Open which opens the jar link in the default browser. Same with Opmin5 which automatically closes our Opmini’s. So we are doomed with tedious tasks of zipping it online or using other browsers/downloaders, that’s a waste of time! But not until now.Some of you might not know this.
Get the Link
When you are on the page like this,get the link of the jar file. Copy it.Go to t9space
Here goes the magic or whatsoever. Go to http://t9space.com and paste the url on the box and then press
GO.Then DL it!
The save option will now be present. Proceed on downloading by selecting SAVE.
How did that happened? Cool!I

How to Download JAR files In Opera Mini 5 beta 2 (Trick)
The problem.
You want to download a file that is a JAR and what you are using is Opera Mini 5 beta 2, which is redirecting to default browser when a jar file is clicked.
The Trick.
This is what I am doing. First set up your Om5b2 permissions in the app manager. Make sure you set the Write/Edit user data permission to Ask Everytime.
Next. When you are browsing and you found the JAR you want to download, click on it and immediately press stop. Go to the address bar and youll see that the link of the JAR is there. Copy it in your clipboard.
Then go to this address: http://krunchit.net
Navigate and click this icon:
Fill in the forms. And click the button.
And after that, youll be redirected on this page. Click download.
It will prompt you to download. And thats it!

Read local languages page font in operamini
hello friends here I am giving u a trick to read webpages that contains local languages font.
u have marked that generally dis kind of language's page's font cant shown and instead of that square boxes shown.
Now here is the trick to enable local language font reading capacity to opera mini.
Just write about:config in url box of operamini.
then set last option to yes then click on save.
Voilla now ur operamini supports languages like hindi, gujarati, marathi, bengali and all other local languages.
To test it go to http://in.jagran.yahoo.com

Opera Mini 4.2 mod as a PC Browser by magictrick.in :: Airtel,AIrcel,tata,reliance,mtnl,bsnl Free Internet
I have arrived on a solution to make the famous mobile browser to browse free on Opera Mini 4.2 mod to run in a big window on the PC. The reason for this is the fast browsing experience on mobile devices with this application and the small amount of traffic it generates during browsing sessions, bcos the Opera Mini proxy reduces page sizes. So also PC users could benefit from using this browser, especially from version 4 that introduces fullscreen support.Because OperaMini is a Java ME application, an emulator is necessary. Therefore, I used the Sun Java Wireless Toolkit with the included MIDP emulator. Then I adapted the preinstalled "QwertyDevice" and made a new emulator device template, the "OperaMiniLargeDevice" (OMLD), with the usable screen size like 800x505, 1200x705 pixels. are there is more.Here are pictures of what the result looks like.
Requirements:
*.Get the Java SE Development Kit (JDK) from here
it will work on vista without this(JDK) (i have not tried it on XP).
*.Get the Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 for CLDC from here
*.Get the "OperaMiniLargeDevice" for Sun Java Wireless Toolkit from here
*.To get the Jad out of the Jar u need Jadgen from here

Installation (done for Win XP):
*.Install the JDK.
*.Install the Wireless Toolkit.
*.Unzip your downloaded version of "OperaMiniLargeDevice" (simply extract it, a directory will be created automatically). Copy this directory to Path-to-WTk\wtklib\devices\ . The complete path to OMLD on my machine looks as follows: "C:\WTK2.5.2\wtklib\devices\OperaMiniLargeDevice1024x705".
*.Then choose "OperaMiniLargeDevice" as the default device,
e.g. via "Start->All Programs->Sun WTK->Default Device Selection".
*.Then use "Start->All Programs->Sun WTK->Run MIDP Application" to start Opera Mini via its JAD file.
*.The start screen should appear and you should now be able to launch Opera Mini by pressing F2.
Navigation:
You can set the link focus and scroll through a site with ARROW keys. The ENTER key selects an action, e.g. a text field. Texts can be entered with the normal keyboard keys. You can copy from and paste text into text fields by pressing ctrl+c and ctrl+v. The keys F1 to accept when u enter a new address F2 to launch Hope you find this discovery helpful. Any tips to improve this solution are welcome.

How to Use of Queries In Handler UI Mod Editable Server:

In field Custom HTTP Server : put any customizable proxy server (example: http://wapx.amob.com) with main server of app (example: server4.operamini.com:80/). In this block to use it as proxy http server (example: http://wapx.amob.com.server4.operamini.com/) in any app,
In field Front Query : It mostly used for adding downloading server or downloading trick (exp: wapx.amob.com@) but works only with some service providers,
In field Middle & Back Query : These are mostly useless for us so just leave it blank.
In field Remove String From URL/Remove Port From URL : Leave it blank for default.
In field HOST : You can provide host address or any server here to have a host server.
For example you can try following in Opera Mini 4.2 handler mod:
1. For fast speed: HTTP Server: http://mini5beta.opera-mini.net:80/ ; Front Query(only if its working for you otherwise leave it blank): wapx.amob.com@ ; Host: http://10.0.0.172/ ; Leave other fields blank.

To use it go to Preference - System Settings - Browser Identification UA and select Advanced 1. You can use Advanced 2 for regular Mozila Desktop UA.
