Vodafone said they will be launching a Rs. 6k Android phone this month under their own brand name. The price of this phone
will be somewhere around Rs. 6k-7k and will be having an Android 2.2 OS along with 2.8 inches capacitive touchscreen
display.
This handset will be manufactured by Huawei and it has been named ‘Smart’. It will come with a two megapixels camera,
Adreno 200 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), and 528 MHz ARM processor.
It will be a 3G enabled phone and will have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. There will be 130 MB of internal
storage and the microSD slot of the phone will take maximum of 32 GB cards. The battery of this phone will give 250 hours
of talk time.
Apart from the different Android apps, this phone will be pre-loaded with Vodafone Find & Go, Vodafone Music and GPS
navigator app. There are two colour options – white and black. The service provider might bring it with some kinda bundled
offer like 1 GB free data for six months.
